Your journey begins at Park Slobode in Kotor, where you’ll meet your skipper at the Hawaii Boat Tours blue sign. After a safety briefing, enjoy a swift cruise across the bay toward Our Lady of the Rocks, a legendary artificial island steeped in maritime tradition. You’ll have free time to explore the historic church, admire the surrounding mountain views, and take photos. Museum entrance is optional.
Next, the tour dives into Cold War history as you enter the hidden submarine tunnels, carved directly into the cliffs during the Yugoslav era. The mysterious atmosphere comes alive as your skipper shares untold military stories.
Heading toward the open sea, you’ll pass Mamula Island, once a notorious WWII prison fortress. While there is no docking, the close panoramic view provides dramatic photo opportunities and historical insight.
The highlight of the tour is the Голубая пещера, where sunlight creates a glowing turquoise color inside the cave. Enjoy approximately 30 minutes for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Thrill-seekers may also enjoy optional cliff jumping nearby.
